Style
My style is extremely casual and informal. I tend to make friends with kids easily, probably because I'm a big kid myself. The aim is to capture the excitement that a child displays
while playing and having the time of their life with the cardboard box their expensive toys came in.
I try to stay away from stuffy posed formal portraits in front of a grey or white background - I believe children should be photographed in a more organic
way. When you look at the photographs, they should make you feel the same things you felt the day the picture was taken.
I prefer on location shoots in places that are familiar to the family/child. They can either be in your home, in a park, at the beach, or any outdoor place you prefer.
Clothing style - solid, neutral colors tend to look best on camera. For family portraits, matching colors also tend to look better, creating a feeling of unity between the people in the pictures.
I work out of the Long Island and New York City area, but am available for assignments elsewhere.

I concentrate my work on lifestyle portraits for children and family, and family events - and the occassional wedding.
