I've lived in New York for over 12 years, but I've never made it down to see any of the NYC staples, like the Empire State Building or Statue of Liberty - I've passed Times Square many many times, but never stopped to look up at the building that makes that place look like daylight 24/7. In fact, if it wasn't for one of my friends, I would have never made to the top of the World Trade Center before 9/11 - he had forced me to go with him, and I obliged. Then when people visit, I'm shuffling through google and/or city guides to find information about all these places...Well - this summer, a lot of friends are scheduled to visit, so I've decided to take advantage of it and so this past weekend was one of my first stints as a tour guide in NYC :).... and this is one of the shots from the top of the rock, at the Rockefeller Building in New York City...I'm sure photographers far better than me has attempted this with more superior results.... but ya know, I had to do it - it's my city, too :)
